The suite includes two king beds across two rooms, one private bathroom with grab bars, a freezerless mini-fridge, TV with free Amazon channels, WiFi, two window A/C units, heating, one reading chair, and a round table with four chairs. The annex room accesses the bathroom through the main room. Adults 21+ only; additional nightly charge applies for the 3rd and 4th guests.

What We Do Not Offer
Heart of the Village Inn is a small, owner-operated B&B — not a hotel. A few things guests often ask about that are not part of a stay here:
- No daily housekeeping. Your room is prepared before arrival. Fresh towels, toiletries, and linens are stocked at check-in — the room is not entered or refreshed during your stay.
- No luggage storage. There is no secure on-site storage before check-in or after checkout. If traveling by car, your vehicle is the most practical option for keeping belongings secure until check-in at 3:00 PM.
- No in-room or to-go breakfast. Breakfast is prepared fresh each morning and offered exclusively in the Main Inn breakfast rooms (7:30–9:30 AM). In-room, in-bed, and to-go options are not available.
- No room service or food delivery. Food and beverage are not delivered to guestrooms at any hour.
- No iron or ironing board. Irons and ironing boards are not available in guestrooms or on request.
- No front desk or on-call staff. Rose and Anatoly are resident hosts — present and attentive, but not round-the-clock hotel staff.
Property & Rooms — What to Know
The Barstow Suite is in the Carriage House — a separate building set back from Shelburne Road and much quieter than the Main Inn overall. As a ground-floor suite, it has more direct proximity to the boiler, so during the heating season (late fall through early spring), the natural sounds of hot water pipes are part of the experience. The Webb Suite is directly above — normal activity from guests overhead may be audible. Year-round, the everyday sounds of a shared historic building — water running, showers, conversations, footsteps — are present and entirely expected. The Carriage House remains the quietest area of the property, and the suite’s size and separation from the street make it a calmer and private choice.
WiFi is a complimentary perk via cellular signal — not hardwired broadband — and TV streams free channels via Amazon Fire over the same signal. Speeds may vary during peak hours. It is guests' responsibility to log out of any personal streaming accounts before checkout.
